Cats love tacky cement animals as long as they’re big enough to stand on. July 9, 2008

I\'m opinionated, too

Itta Bena isn’t the only cat that’s opinionated around here.  So listen and listen good. This blog is for people who want to garden on the cheap and don’t mind cats milling around, helping them paint their cement animals and garage sale furniture, eating their plants and then throwing them up. The life of a garden cat, does it get any better? Right now I have a lovely blue blotched butt from helping paint the vivid delft deer, apparently a new species. Here I’m deciding what color to paint my ass.  Wait a minute, that’s already blue from yesterday’s paint job. I meant what color to paint my donkey.

Anyway, we hope to present some ideas on how to have a cool garden without much cash.  Why spend yourself into a hole? Plant a tree in it instead. Take this donkey, please! Geez, that joke is older than Ms. CC Lady. This donkey costs $5 at a going out of business sale.  For 5 bucks it’s not perfect. It has a turd for a tail.  You heard me right. The store owner broke the tail and tried to mold another from Bondo. Hence, the turd for a tail. Gee, that’s fun to say.  All through this blog CC Lady and the cat gang plan to present cheap ideas that maybe you can use. Nothing costs more than a few bucks.  Hope to show you lots of pictures of cats, plants, and garden stuff.  No hundred dollar items from Hearth and Plow or even twenty dollar stuff from WallyWorld, unless it was a great sale. You know, the $25 plant for five.  What could be better for a cat than lots of plants to sleep under and lots of reasonably flat stuff to lounge about on?
